About Me

A syndicated journalist once referred to me as a veteran in IT Management and Consulting. While that sounds a bit lofty to me, I have been responsible for managing IT professionals for over 20 years.

I have been interviewed by Fortune Small Business (CNNMoney.com), Bruce Barber on the “Real Life Survival Guide” on public radio, and by Joyce Lain Kennedy whose columns are syndicated in over 100 newspapers.

I have a new passion for reaching out to new IT managers, all new managers actually. Anyone who has just been promoted to be the “new manager” will quickly learn that there is a lack of quality resources and networking.

It is my passion to create a network of professionals who have responsibility for people’s careers. If you are meeting with your staff for the first time, or trying to figure out why something you just implemented did not work, my desire is that you will have a new place to turn for help.

I have worked as an IT professional primarily in the Chemical Manufacturing (Regulatory and Compliance), Telecommunications, and the Health Care industries.

As a father of five and husband of a beautiful author, I am blessed. I enjoy dates with my daughters, fishing trips with my sons, and weekend getaways with my wife. I not only teach, but demonstrate life/work balance.

I am passionate about people, especially passionate people.
